HotWheels Exotic Envy BMW M1 Procar Imported Premium 1:64 Scale
The BMW M1 Procar is a grand touring race car designed and manufactured by BMW Motorsport GmbH as what was essentially was a racing version of the BMW M1 although few components were shared between the road and race cars. Designed for competition in the BMW M1 Procar Championship, the M1 Procar was also designed to meet Group 4 technical regulations. The cars were powered by a 3.5L M88/1 inline-6 and was capable of producing some 470 horsepower. All cars used in the championship were built to identical standards and were built by either BS Fabrications, Project Four Racing or Osella Squadra Corse. BMW ended the Procar Championship after two years to concentrate on their entry into Formula One, with some Procars later competing in Group B at the 24 Hours of Le Mans where they proved competitive, scoring a few class victories. Fifty-four chassis were built.
